YoWorld continues to thrive on the Facebook platform and is cited as one of the inspirations for the creation of FarmVille!

The game allows Facebook members to create a virtual community with personalized characters and homes. With thousands of items to choose from, players can customize their homes, characters, and worlds to their heart’s content!

General Overview

From Player Support Specialist to Community Manager within
a few months, I've been able to take my player skill set to a
whole other level!

In the past several months of working as a Community Manager,
I was able to work towards my goal of becoming a Community Lead. After months of determination and constantly hitting engagement goals and DAU increases, I was able to achieve that dream by being promoted to Senior Community Lead.

My responsibilities include:

Creating OKRs and facilitating metrics for social media growth, player engagement, and player morale.
Became the stakeholder and creator of creatives, campaigns, charity drives, and more!
Providing initiatives and working closely with other teams such as Live Marketing, Product, and Player Support to facilitate giveaways, contests, and community-related events.
Leading a team of up to four people to ensure marketing, social media, and player goals are met.
Always the player advocate! Maintaining constant feedback and streamlining the player's voice to better understand how we can improve and grow.

Accomplishments

Introducing Discord to the YoWorld Community!

Within three months in my role as a Community Manager, I created the official YoWorld Server!

This opened the ability to do Jackbox events, YoWorld live events, live giveaways, trivia nights, and more. With only five months of being open, the YoWorld Discord is at 4,600 users!
